Obducat receives order from IMTEK at University of Freiburg in Germany

The Quickstep system will be installed in the 600 m2 large cleanroom at IMTEK, which has more than 240 registered users and is equipped for processing internal and external projects with high proficiency and reliability. The Quickstep will be used for the performance of lift-off process in conjunction with micro patterning of metal layers. The order value amounts to approx. 1.6 MSEK.

IMTEK focus on making life healthier, safer, more comfortable, versatile, and not least, easier. By laying the foundations for better and more intelligent products IMTEK’s industrial partners can benefit and stay ahead of global competition. Over the last few years, IMTEK has grown to become one of the world’s largest academic institutions in the field of microsystems engineering. IMTEK also provide training to young scientists to become microsystems engineers.

The Quickstep system is planned to be delivered second quarter 2016.
