Obducat receives order from Institute of Acoustics in China

The institute consists of nine laboratories and research centres in Beijing, among them the State Key Laboratory of Acoustics and the National Network New Media Engineering Research Center. Furthermore, there are four CAS key laboratories on noise and vibration research, the underwater acoustic environment, speech acoustics and content understanding and information technology for AUVs (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle). In addition, the institute has three field stations located in Hainan, Shanghai and Qingdao and one acoustical technology transfer centre in the city of Jiaxing, Zhejiang.   

IOA aims to do research at the frontiers of acoustics and information processing technologies. IOA’s goal is to make important contributions to China in the fields of security, energy, life and health, information networks and ocean management through scientific innovation and systems integration.  

The EITRE system is scheduled to be delivered to Institute of Acoustics during the third quarter 2017.
