OBDUCAT has received an order for an EITRE 3 nanoimprint lithography (NIL) system. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 2.6 million and delivery is planned for the second quarter of 2026.
The institute will use the EITRE 3 system in research and development activities carried out through collaborations between academia and industry. The work is aimed at developing new innovative solutions within application areas including healthcare, agriculture, water and environmental technologies.
The research is conducted within the field of Bio-CPS (Bio Cyber Physical Systems), an interdisciplinary approach that combines biological sciences with electronics, computing and physical systems. By integrating these areas, the institute focuses on translating research into practical applications across several sectors. The EITRE 3 system provides the manufacturing capabilities needed to develop and evaluate small and precise structures that support this type of applied research.
