OBDUCAT, the leading manufacturer of lithography solutions based on nanoimprint lithography (NIL), has received an order from DGIST, a research-oriented university and research institute in Daegu, Korea, for the supply of an EITRE® 6 NIL system.

The EITRE system will be installed in the Device Cleanroom at the Center for Core Research Facilities. The EITRE system will be used in research and development work as well as for educational purposes. The order value amounts to 3.3 MSEK.

The DGIST Institute started as a Research Institute and has grown into a research-oriented university

DGIST is an interdisciplinary university and research institute with the aim of becoming "a world-leading convergence research university”, with targeted research areas in Emerging Materials Science, Information & Communication Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Brain Science and New Biology.

R&D areas that will benefit from the EITRE 6 tool are solar cells, magnetic sensors, Bio-devices, and nanoelectronic devices", says Dr. Hwan Soo Jang, researcher at the DGIST institute.
