The EITRE system has been purchased by the school of Materials Science and Engineering at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The system will be installed at the new nanoimprint lithography facility that is being set-up by the state key lab of metal matrix composites. The system will be used in research and development work as well as for educational purposes. The order value amounts to approx. 1 MSEK.
The mission of the state key lab of metal matrix composites’ is to advance the fundamental understanding of metal matrix composites, polymer based composites and novel functional composites. The purpose is to provide the fundamental theories and technology support, and offer small amounts of a variety of critical composites in the key area.
"Targeted applications currently include Bio-simulation, Bio-mimic material and special structural metal matrix composites." says Professor Fan Tongxiang, who is heading the new nanoimprint lithography facility.
The EITRE system to the Shanghai Jiao Tong University will be delivered during the first quarter 2016.
