USTC placed an order for an Eitre® 6 NIL system with Obducat in August this year. The NIL system has now been shipped to the customer.
Obducat has entered into a collaboration agreement with Institute of Advanced Technology at USTC, focused on development of next generation of LED technology. The target is to further improve energy efficiency of today’s High Brightness LEDs in combination with a reduction of production cost.
Obducat will support Institute of Advanced Technology with process know-how, Ni stamp manufacturing service as well as overall support concerning migration from R&D to industrial mass production.
Institute of Advanced Technology and Obducat will jointly collaborate with the industrial partners. Obducat will also support the project with transfer of Obducat´s NIL technology to the industrial partners. The collaboration project is scheduled to run over a two-year period.
